Inglewood House

This is 1930’s Bungalow that I have slowly worked on with a client for the past two years. It has been transformed from a 2×1 with sleep out and study to a massive 3×2 with a gorgeous open plan and stunning entertaining area. I hope I have given the older parts justice as much as the new extension as they are both equally beautiful. Moroccan was a great choice for this home as in the Art deco Era the pyramids were discovered and a lot of the middle eastern style was reflected in architecture, fashion and furniture. It just shows that just because you have an older home you do not have to follow the style of the period just make sure they complement each other. Many of these items cannot be bought in Australia as the client has collected them over the years and this home would be a hard task to emulate. It is in its own right a work of art and a one of a kind home, which has been specifically designed for the clients tastes, needs and more importantly to tell her story of how she lives and has travelled. I hope you all love it as much as I do.
